The OFF-WHITE x Jordan 1 UNC is the 3rd iteration of the Air Jordan 1 by Virgil Abloh. The sneaker consists of the original UNC colorway with distinct deconstructed detailing as seen in the previous drops from this collaboration.
I rarely ever wear blue, so styling these kicks was a cool challenge. When you can find pieces that are the exact hue of the sneaker you're trying to match with, it gives so much life to the outfit and shows that an eye for detail is key. It allows me to expand my horizons within styling as I'm looking for clothing to work with that I typically wouldn't wear.
The two main components that tie the outfit together are my Parra tee and my Champion bucket hat. I didn't even realize that I already had two pieces in my closet that could work so well with this look, and that goes to show that stepping outside of your comfort zone can bring new life to clothing that you've already had. The hat and sneakers work together to emphasize the blue detailing in the shirt, all of which create a cohesive look.
The simple beige Dickie's work shorts breaks up the color and helps to neutralize the look.
These sneakers are super fun to style, especially being that I'm trying to incorporate more color into my wardrobe. Who else caught a win on these?
