Styling A Midi Skirt and Dr Martens Combo

Midi skirts continue to remain a wardrobe staple season upon season. Personally, the midi skirt is one of my favorite silhouettes because it’s flattering for all body types, and it’s also super versatile. It can be dressed up or down, left, right—you know the deal. For this outfit, I wanted to switch it up and create a somewhat edgier look by styling a midi skirt and Doc Martens combo.

There is something about the contrast of chunky, stomp-around Doc Martens paired with a sensual, free flowing midi skirt that I absolutely love. It’s flirtatious, yet grungy.

This season, I’ve been loving printed midi skirts. I’ve struck gold from shops like Topshop and Zara, which is actually where I got this leopard print skirt from.

With such a stand-out skirt and shoe combo, you can keep the rest of the outfit simple. I wore a basic black cropped tank from Cotton Citizen, and my go-to sunnies from Quay. I plan to style more skirts and dresses this season, so stay tuned for more style blogs! Thanks for reading!
