Great denim is always something I focus on as it is a wardrobe staple. Like any of us, finding the perfect pair of jeans can always be a task, especially when it comes to length, wash, fit, the whole 9 yards. When I came across these jeans at work from a brand called Ottolinger, I died. Legit. From the moment I tried them on, it was love at first sight.
They accentuate every single inch of the body and gave me the cutest little booty (which is a challenge for me with most pants). The utilitarian-inspired pocket detailing is out of this world. I’m talking pockets on pockets—literally.
I did more research into these beauties and discovered something even more amazing about them. These jeans were designed by ISKO , a company that creates sustainable denim through their one of a kind fabric technology. Unbeknownst to many, It takes around 1,800 gallons of water to grow enough cotton to produce just ONE pair of regular blue jeans. ISKO’s technology minimize water consumption, saving roughly 280,000 tons—absolutely amazing. Thanks to the brand’s outstanding fabric recovery, jeans retain shape wear after wear. This technology means consumers wash their jeans less, thus saving on water. A pair of pants that are so incredibly designed AND ethical? I’m sold.
One last tidbit about these jeans that I absolutely love is that they’re fully customizable. There are zippers that run down the back of both pant legs, giving you the ability to make the jeans either tapered or flared. Along the waist line are adjustable straps to either tighten or loosen them as well. Overall, these jeans are incredibly advanced and way ahead of their time. If you’ve never heard of Ottolinger before, I sincerely suggest checking the brand out. Their designs are so incredibly unique!
